Neglected Blog!

I have really been neglecting this blog!

Quick catch up

New grandchild on the way - due in January! # 6

Granddaughter # 1 starting 2nd grade soon.

Granddaughter # 2 starting kindergarten soon.

Boy does time fly - it seems like yesterday we were waiting in the hospital for them to be born!

Camera broken - can only upload pictures taken before it broke in June.

Knitting / crocheting going well!

Am in 2 traveling scarf groups at the moment a crochet one and an ocean theme knitted one.

Just finished the Starbucks swap

Ongoing in a dishcloth swap

Doing a leftover dishcloth swap also

Signed up for 2 classes at Stitches East. Can't wait for Oct.!

Am on Ravelry daily to check out what is going on in the knitting world.

Still following the Red Sox fingers crossed they will get back on track!

WOW! Can't believe no Feb posts!

This is the beautiful cloth and awesome package I received from memeto12 in the Dishcloth Dozen swap.  I will post a picture of the cute sewing tin she sent me in my next post.  I am hiding it from  granddaughter # 3.  She keeps trying to take it home!

This beautiful cloth is from Guiness Goddess - as you can see it is one of my favorite things - a lighthouse dishcloth!   The chocolates are also one of my favorite things - yummmm.

This picture of all 11 cloths does not do justice to the wonderful work everyone did!  I will be posting a better picture soon - of all the cloths hanging up on a mini clothesline with my mimi clothes pins!

THESE ARE THE CUTEST MINI CLOTHS PINS.  I TOLD THE MEMBERS OF THE DISHCLOTH SWAP THAT I WAS THINKING OF HANGING MY DISHCLOTHS UP ON A MINI CLOTHS LINE TO DISPLAY AND KAREN AND JESSICA SENT ME THESE!  THEY ARE THE AWESOME AND I CAN'T WAIT TO HANG THEM UP

THEY ALSO SENT ME SOME DARK CHOCOLATE (MMM), CRANBERRY HOT COCOA, CANDLE, LIGHTHOUSE NAPKINS AND JOURNAL !

I DIDN'T REALIZE THAT THESE 2 DISHCLOTHS HAD NOT BEEN POSTED YET!  SORRY!  AND THEY CAME ALL THE WAY FROM CANADA!

THIS LIGHTHOUSE CLOTH IS FROM KAREN.  IT IS ONE OF MY FAVORITE PATTERNS!  I MADE THIS FOR SOMEONE ELSE BUT HAVE NEVER MADE ONE FOR MYSELF!  NOW, THANKS TO KAREN I HAVE MY OWN!

YOU CAN SEE THE DETAIL BETTER IF YOU CLICK ON THESE CLOTHS.  THEY ARE BOTH AWESOME BUT THE DETAIL DOESN'T ALWAYS SHOW UP ON THE COMPUTER.

AND ISN'T THIS ONE  FROM JESSICA GREAT!  THE KITTY IS SO CUTE!  I WILL HAVE TO HIDE IT FROM THE GRANDKIDS!  THEY LOVE KITTIES ALSO.  

MY OWN KITTY IS IN TROUBLE TODAY - SHE KEEPS TRYING TO DRINK OUT OF THE FISHBOWL!  THE FISH DOES NOT APPRECIATE THIS AT ALL!
